Derek and his Troupe are AWESOME

My daughter in love and myself went to see the Derek Hough Tour and we were not disappointed! First off, Who starts a show with "Ladies & Gentlemen please remember no video recordings and flash photography - oh just kidding, take all the pictures and videos you want! Then post them with hashtags!" We took lots of video. I don't know how Derek does it but he danced almost non-stop for 2 hours! His dance troupe family were all amazing dancers! The band, costumes, etc. By the way Derek not only dances, he sings, he plays drums, guitars, etc. He engages with the audience by going out into the crowd and being up close and personal! I just wish we had better seats on the floor so we could have been the lucky ones chosen to participate! The songs and dances ranged from all genre of music and dance style. LOVED the Singing in the Rain, dances! Love Gene Kelly, you and the other young whipper snapper as you called him, killed the routines! Then you threw in Shallow from A Star Is Born, then music, singing and dancing from The Greatest Showman! Wow! Wow! It was totally amazing. Half the time we were looking at each other and saying "did you just see what they did with that dance move?" "What, did they just do?" Seriously, go see this amazing show! It is awesome. Derek is so personal, it really is great. So miss seeing him on Dancing With the Stars, always was my favorite dancer with all the routines he came up with.
